The next IACL Roundtable will be held in Rome on 5 & 6 May 2017, under the auspices of the Speaker of the Greek Parliament, Ms Zoe Konstantopoulou.

Institutional Affiliation: The Roundtable will be hosted by LUISS Guido Carli University, Department of Law and Department of Political Science.

Convener: The Convener of the Roundtable is Professor Susanna Mancini, Chair of Comparative Constitutional Law at the University of Bologna School of Law, Executive Committee Member of the International Association of Constitutional Law (IACL).

Organising Committee:

• Prof Nicola Lupo, Department of Political Science, LUISS Guido Carli University, Rome.
• Prof Susanna Mancini, Faculty of Law, University of Bologna.

Theme: “Constitutional Adjudication: Traditions and Horizons”.

The Roundtable will have panels the following topics:

• Boundaries of Constitutional Adjudication.
• Social Movements and Constitutional Adjudication.
• Constitutionalism, Politics, Morals and Proportionality.

The Roundtable will also have parallel panels on the following topics:

• Adjudicating What? Constitutional Adjudication and Fundamental Rights.
• Adjudicating How? Interpretation, Proportionality and Balancing.
• Adjudicating Where? Constitutional Adjudication within the Composite European Constitution.
